The scoop is formed on an iron base and finished with lacquer, applied and refined through multiple layers by hand. The matte black surface is quiet and restrained, with a soft, tactile depth that develops over time.

Paired with a slender copper tea needle, the linear form contrasts with the rounded body. Over time, the copper develops a warmer patina, adding a natural sense of ageing through use.

Centred on the interplay between line and circle, the form remains clean and composed. Functional in use, yet equally suited as a presence on the tea table.
